Mighty Millions Lottery

The Mighty Millions Home Lottery generates significant funding for essential equipment and facility maintenance at Edmonton’s Stollery Children’s Hospital.

As design lead, our team worked with Asher to evolve the campaign’s visual system year over year—maintaining consistency while introducing thoughtful updates to keep the creative fresh, engaging and exciting. Each campaign highlighted a brand new Grand Prize Showhome located in a desired location in Edmonton. Early incentive prizes also contributed to the excitment, featuring luxury vehicles and vacations. The challenge each season was to retain repeat ticket buyers while attracting new purchasers. This was achieved through a cohesive, multi-channel approach anchored by a multi-page, full-colour printed brochure mailed out to previous buyers. This brochure set the tone for all supporting materials, including in home mailers, social media, email campaigns, digital ads, site signage, and on-site hospital presence.

The campaign consistently sold out and ultimately expanded to include a second annual spring lottery, resulting in increased fundraising and greater support for life-saving hospital equipment.
