Water Security Agency

Role: Design Lead
Client: WSA
Website: wsask.ca
Agency: LMNO Consulting

The Water Security Agency (WSA) of Saskatchewan, is one of a kind in Canada, bringing multiple water management responsibilities together under a single organization. The agency balances the needs of communities, industry, agriculture, and the environment through comprehensive water-use guidelines and long-term strategies.

As Design Lead on the brand guidelines project, I worked with the team to identify key pain points around consistency, usability, and internal adoption. We developed a flexible, easy-to-navigate brand system with WCAG considerations that empowered internal teams to apply the brand confidently and consistently across a wide range of communications. The system included clearly defined content pillars supported by colour application and custom iconography.

Building on this foundation, I led the design of WSA’s website refresh to modernize the organization’s digital presence and reinforce its role as a leader in water management. The new site was built using a component-based CMS, enabling internal teams to easily create, manage, and scale content as the organization grows. The result is a clear, accessible, and future-ready platform that supports both public engagement and internal efficiency.

Video Animation Design, Direction and Execution

Extended the brand system into motion, developing guidelines for video intros, quote styles, lower thirds, and end cards. The result was cohesive, recognizable content that elevated storytelling while reinforcing brand identity.
